The Squirrels’ Nest is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors whose membership is represented by the enrolled Child Care families. The Board of Directors is accountable for the financial viability and stability of the Centre. 

The Board provides governance to ensure that the Centre Management effectively and efficiently manages the day to day operations and develops and implements all Centre policies and procedures based on the guidelines and regulations set by the Ministry of Education and Toronto Children Services.

The Board of Directors is accountable to the Ministry of Education and Toronto Children’s Services.
